TYLER’S ROLE AT BLAST IT CLEAN
Tyler is a hard-working individual we have come to rely on as part of our operations team. He has been at Blast It Clean for about 4 years and is currently a Team Lead. Tyler is always up for traveling and putting in the long hours when needed.

WHY DO YOU WORK AT BLAST IT CLEAN?
Jake (a former employee) and I used to work together so he told me about the job. I trusted him so I knew it would be a good move.
I like the environment. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been here it is all based on performance and what you are willing to learn.
I also like blasting because it’s satisfying to see the results.
WHAT MIGHT SURPRISE PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I think the “wow” factor. Just what we are able to do with different techniques. Also, the confined spaces we are able to work in. There have been times when we are literally INSIDE of machines to clean them.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PROJECT YOU HAVE WORKED ON AND WHY?
Not sure if it’s my favorite, but the most gratifying for me was blasting a couple of dome buildings a couple of years ago. I liked the challenge and all the learning that took place on that job. I got to use repelling gear and lead one dome from start to finish. We were removing paint and the surface was fabric so it was more delicate and had to be extremely careful.
Otherwise, it’s always nice to get a dry Ice job where you don't have to spend as much time on the clean-up.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 5 YEARS?
I'd like to still be with the company. I’m hoping to keep growing with the company and gain more education and experience.
WHAT DOES HAPPINESS LOOK LIKE TO YOU?
Just hanging out maybe having a couple of drinks with good people or spending time with my family. I would call myself a family guy. I like spoiling my niece and playing with her (she’s 8) and my grandpa even works for Blast It Clean now.
WHAT HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY, BUT NEVER HAVE?
Two things I want to do are go skydiving and bungy jumping. I’m a pretty chill guy but I like seeking out an adrenaline rush. Plans are in the works right now to go skydiving so I’m going to make it happen very soon!
IF YOU COULD HAVE DINNER WITH ONE CELEBRITY, WHO WOULD IT BE?
I guess Will Ferrell. He’s just one of my favorite actors. He’s funny so it would be entertaining.
TELL US SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU
I can't throw up. When I was little, I was unable to keep food down so I had surgery that made it so I had no choice. Now I’m physically unable to throw up.
