INITIAL ASSESSMENT & PREPARATION
In the inaugural stages of 2019, a significant project came our way: pet food mixers, coated with various residues, arrived at our doorstep, necessitating a thorough treatment via baking soda blasting to reveal the pristine steel underneath. The journey begins with a detailed inspection of the pet food mixing equipment. Our experts identify the extent of contaminants, including pet food residues, paint, grime, and other unwanted materials. Preparation is key, and this may involve dismantling the mixers into smaller components to guarantee that all surfaces are accessible for effective cleaning.
SETUP FOR BLASTING
Creating a controlled environment is crucial. We prepare a containment area to manage the baking soda particles and maintain a clean and safe workspace. Technicians are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, and protective suits, to ensure their safety throughout the process.
