CHRIS’ ROLE AT BLAST IT CLEAN
Chris joined Blast It Clean as a sandblaster in 2016. He works in the field helping our team with blasting, painting, or any other services we provide. We can always count on Chris to get the job done well and show up on time. His dedication and knowledge is a great asset to the team. He is known for bringing a positive energy to the work atmosphere.

CAN YOU TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND AND JOURNEY TO JOINING OUR COMPANY?
I had a friend who worked here, Jake, who referred me to Blast It Clean. I’ve been here about 7 years now, and I am currently a sandblaster.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING HERE?
Definitely the company culture. I like the environment and the people, it’s fun.
OUTSIDE OF WORK, WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HOBBIES OR INTERESTS?
I like to play a lot of basketball and hang out with my son.
WHO HAS BEEN A MENTOR OR ROLE MODEL FOR YOU AT BLAST IT CLEAN?
Tyler, he’s like my big brother.
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO UNWIND AFTER A BUSY DAY OR WEEK AT WORK?
I like to hang out with my son–we like to go to Chuck E Cheese, play with Hot Wheels, and go to the park.
WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH OR CONTRIBUTE TO IN THE FUTURE, EITHER IN YOUR ROLE OR WITHIN THE COMPANY?
I want to eventually be in a higher position. Maybe a supervisor.
IF YOU COULD SWITCH JOBS WITH ANYONE ELSE IN THE COMPANY FOR A DAY, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I don’t want anyone else’s job. I would not want to switch jobs with anyone, I like what I do.
WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO SNACK TO KEEP YOU FUELED DURING THE WORKDAY?
Pistachios. They are so good!
IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND HOW WOULD YOU USE IT?
Superspeed, because I like the Flash. It’s a little ironic because my favorite animal is a turtle. I for sure would want to be a villain.
IF YOU WERE A CHARACTER IN A TV SHOW OR MOVIE, WHO WOULD YOU BE AND WHY?
That’s a good question. Michael from the office, because he’s funny.
WHAT’S THE MOST MEMORABLE TEAM OUTING OR EVENT YOU’VE ATTENDED?
The Fun Farm was a great time. I got to bring my son and we walked around the pumpkin patch.
IF YOU COULD CHOOSE A THEME SONG FOR YOUR WORKDAY, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It’s working time, not morphin time.
WHAT’S THE WEIRDEST OR FUNNIEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO YOU AT WORK?
I don’t know if this was funny, but I fell 25 feet from a structure and my harness caught me. I survived, I’m still alive!
