TONY’S ROLE AT BLAST IT CLEAN
Tony is one of our newer sandblasters and shows up ready to work with a positive attitude. We are super excited to have him on board with us and can’t wait to see how he grows within the company.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT WORKING AT BLAST IT CLEAN?
It keeps me occupied, the pay is decent, and it’s fun for real. I’ve been learning all kinds of new things.
WHAT’S ONE PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT YOU’RE PARTICULARLY PROUD OF?
When we traveled to St. Louis I was able to work on the scaffolding which was really cool. It was my first blasting job and first time being out of town with the company.
HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We went ice skating recently at Crown Center, we watch movies, we do all types of stuff together.
WHAT’S THE LAST SHOW YOU BINGED-WATCHED?
It’s called “Dave.” I think it’s on Hulu, if you watch it you will die laughing, it’s super funny.
WHAT’S A HOBBY OR SKILL YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO LEARN?
Something to do with music. I would love to learn how to play piano.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR NEXT YEAR, BOTH PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL?
When it comes to work, I want to move up, and that goes for any career that I’m in. For personal goals, I just want to stay on the same route I’m on right now and stay out of trouble.
IF YOU COULD RELIVE ONE DAY FROM YOUR LIFE, WHAT DAY WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I try not to focus a lot on the negative things. I could say I wouldn’t have done this, or wouldn’t have done that, but at the same time I wouldn’t be where I’m at today.
WHAT’S YOUR “DESERT ISLAND” PLAYLIST–JUST THREE SONGS?
I don’t know if I can narrow it down to songs, but if I had to choose 3 artists I would choose Kodak Black, Loe Shimmy, and Drake.
WHAT’S THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF YOUR ROLE AT BIC?
Being on time. But also when you are working and blasting, it can be physically challenging as well. It can be exhausting especially when you’re out of town for 7 days and working 10 hour days straight. You just have to maintain the same speed and keeping up your work ethic.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE CULTURE AT BIC?
I love it here, everybody is chill and laid back. Everybody is themselves.
WHO HAS BEEN A BIG INFLUENCE ON YOUR PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL LIFE?
I’d have to say my fiancee. Ever since I came home, she’s kept me straight and on the right path.
