Jason recently joined our administrative team as our new Office Manager. We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to seeing him grow and thrive in his role.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO BLAST IT CLEAN?
I’ve always had an interest in office management positions, and Ken had been working here for almost a year and told me about the opportunity, so that’s what brought me here.
WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF WORKING IN THIS INDUSTRY?
I guess from what I can tell early on, there’s a huge potential for growth. Hearing from Ken and everyone around the office, it sounds like the sky is the limit in the blasting industry.
IF YOU WERE IN CHARGE OF PLANNING THE NEXT TEAM OUTING, WHAT WOULD WE BE DOING?
I was thinking about doing a night out at the K. We could tailgate, grill hotdogs and burgers, and maybe have it be a Friday night with fireworks after the Royals play.
WHAT’S ONE SKILL YOU HAVE THAT YOU THINK WOULD SURPRISE YOUR COWORKERS?
I don’t really have any “hidden talents” persay, but in highschool I was a two-time all-state soccer goalie and was invited to the state all-star game for Kansas.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK?
Go home and be with my dogs.
WHAT MOVIE HAVE YOU SEEN A MILLION TIMES AND STILL LOVE?
Shawshank Redemption. That’s one of them, I have a lot of them. I love the Avenger movies too.
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU WISH MORE PEOPLE UNDERSTOOD ABOUT YOUR JOB?
Understanding that there’s multiple tabs open with multiple tasks on each tab. There’s more than one thing I’m trying to handle at a time.
WHAT’S YOUR DREAM VACATION DESTINATION — NO BUDGET, NO LIMITS?
The Turks and Caicos Islands, I went there on one of my stops on my cruise and have always wanted to go back. Talk about white sand and clear water.
IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE YOUR JOB USING ONLY THREE WORDS, WHAT WOULD THEY BE?
There’s always something.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU ON TOUGH DAYS?
