ANDREW’S ROLE AT BLAST IT CLEAN
Andrew joined the Blast It Clean team in April this year, and he’s already proven himself to be a dedicated and hardworking member of our crew. His strong work ethic and attention to detail make him a valuable part of every project he’s on. We’re excited to have Andrew on board and look forward to seeing all the great work he’ll contribute to future projects!

HOW DID YOU FIRST GET STARTED IN THE BLASTING AND PAINTING INDUSTRY?
I got started at Blast It Clean when a really good friend referred this job to me. Ever since I got hired on, I have loved this job, and I’m still going strong.
WHAT’S ONE SKILL YOU’VE LEARNED HERE THAT SURPRISED YOU?
My first time hydro blasting was one of the most satisfying experiences. I learned a lot from Drew, and he really helped me grow in this company.
IF YOU WEREN’T IN THIS INDUSTRY, WHAT KIND OF JOB WOULD YOU WANT?
If I weren't in this industry, I probably would be shoveling asphalt for my dad's company.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MEAL OR FOOD SPOT IN KANSAS CITY?
I would have to say my favorite meal or spot light in Kansas City would most definitely be J's Fish and Chicken, their catfish is to die for.
IF YOU COULD INSTANTLY LEARN ANY NEW SKILL, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
As for learning new skills, I would love to learn how to dry ice blast.
COFFEE OR ENERGY DRINK—WHAT GETS YOU THROUGH THE DAY?
What gets me through my day is a strong cup of coffee and the willingness to learn something new every day.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE HOBBY OR ACTIVITY OUTSIDE OF WORK?
My favorite hobbies are spending time with my kid, fishing, hiking, camping, and Xbox.
HAVE YOU HAD A MENTOR OR COWORKER HERE WHO’S MADE A BIG IMPACT ON YOU?
As for mentors, Jon and Drew have given me the tips and tools I would need to make it through my day.
WHAT’S ONE TOOL OR PIECE OF EQUIPMENT YOU COULDN’T DO YOUR JOB WITHOUT?
The one tool I couldn't do my job without is my motivation.
