HOW HAVE YOU CONTRIBUTED TO OUR TEAM MOST SIGNIFICANTLY?

I feel like I was meant to come into Blast It Clean to create a positive environment and foster the company culture. I thrive in a place where people want to grow and be a part of the team.

TELL ME ABOUT AN INTERESTING EXPERIENCE OR ENCOUNTER YOU’VE HAD RECENTLY.

I recently participated in a small business promotional event at Swope Park for a chiropractic care business and I was able to gain more perspective from different groups of people. Some people just were not aware of holistic medicine or viewed it in a more negative light and I just found it interesting to receive real-world interactions and opinions.

IF YOU COULD COMPARE YOURSELF WITH ANY ANIMAL, WHICH WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

I would probably say a lion. I am pretty bold for the most part. I am good at taking charge when I need to. I can adapt to situations and lead, but I also know when to step back and allow someone else to take the reigns. In life, I am learning to not allow others to drive what I am about.

YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN AN ELEPHANT. YOU CAN’T GIVE IT AWAY OR SELL IT. WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE ELEPHANT?

Wow, that is a hard question. I would obviously nurture it and take care of it. That’s my first instinct and who I am as a person. If I couldn’t sell it or give it away it is automatically my responsibility. I have a dog, so I can’t imagine ever getting rid of her or selling her. It would be the same situation with an elephant. I grew up on a farm, so it would probably have its own condo and everything. Something like Clifford the big red dog.

YOU’RE HAPPIEST WHEN?

There are different situations where I am happy. It could be as simple as being at home with my dog or going to the park or hanging out with my friends. Helping others also makes me happy.

WHICH ONE DO YOU LOVE MORE, CATS OR DOGS?

I love dogs. I am not a big fan of cats. My brother went to the army and we had to watch his cat, and she was very calm and soothing. But I have always enjoyed dogs more and I love being around my own dog.

HOW MANY PENNIES WOULD FIT INTO THIS ROOM?

*laughs* I would say at least a trillion, if not more. When you asked me that question it was giving me “The Hobbit” vibes.

WHAT IS THE LAST GIFT YOU GAVE SOMEONE?

It was probably just some advice. There was a friend that was going through a tough time and I was able to give him advice and resources to get the help that he really needed.

DO YOU THINK ZOMBIES SHOULD BE SLOW OR FAST AND WHY?

I don’t know A LOT about zombies. There is always talk about a zombie apocalypse so I would say slow so I could run away from them. I need to be able to outrun those zombies!

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPERHUMAN ABILITY, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I think if I could have a superhuman ability it would probably be being able to read people’s minds or thoughts. In my opinion, it would make it easier to know people’s intentions and what they are about. I want to surround myself with people who are like-minded.

HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS?

For me, it’s not really about money. It's my personal growth. It’s how I have grown in the businesses I work for and in my personal life. I define success based on growing for myself, but to help others.

IF I GAVE YOU $200,000 DOLLARS TO BUILD YOUR OWN BUSINESS, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I want to start a clothing line for shorter men because there really is nothing out there like that. There is big and tall, but nothing for shorter men. I would start a main location on the plaza because Kansas City has lots of opportunities for entrepreneurs and I feel like it would be a great place for headquarters. I would also travel to different countries that had shorter men. So I would probably do an eCommerce business.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE WHOLE DAY WITH A CELEBRITY OR FICTIONAL CHARACTER, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY? WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

My personal celebrity crush big time is Ryan Reynolds. I think that he carries himself really well. From what I know of him and his wife, they seem like very classy people. If I could have a whole day with Ryan Reynolds I think I honestly would just do whatever he wanted to do. In the process, I would get to learn more about him and his energy. I know that he has some good perspective and good vibes. It’s not a matter of where we are or what we are doing, I just want to get to know him.
