PAYTON’S ROLE AT BLAST IT CLEAN

Payton is one of the newest members of our crew. In just a short time, Payton found his place and jumped right into our company culture. Payton is always willing to take on new tasks and continue to develop and challenge himself. Payton strives to surround himself with positive people and always shows up with a great attitude and is ready to work. We are fortunate to have him and are impressed with his ability to catch on quickly and retain the knowledge of our company.

WHAT MADE YOU PURSUE A JOB AT BLAST IT CLEAN?

I was looking for work and my counselor Becky had connections at Blast It Clean, so she led me in this direction.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT ASSET TO THE COMPANY?

I do whatever they tell me to do and get the job done efficiently.

WHAT IS SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I have a fake knee from a car accident.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PROJECT OUT IN THE FIELD SO FAR AND WHY?

I liked working on the fountain project at the Intercontinental Hotel near the Plaza because I got to use a lot of angle grinders and it was fun.

HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS?

You have to work hard for what you want and not make excuses.

IF HOLLYWOOD MADE A MOVIE ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE CAST AS YOU?

I would choose Adam Sandler because he is entertaining and always full of life.

WHAT ARE THREE ITEMS YOU’D TAKE WITH YOU TO A DESERTED ISLAND?

The basics like water, food, and a lighter.

IF YOU COULD ONLY EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Casey’s Pizza - most people would look at me like I’m crazy but I enjoy it.

WHAT’S THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU SO FAR THIS WEEK?

I finally got a place and my own vehicle. I also found a job and can afford to take my kids to daycare, which is always a blessing.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE SOMETHING FROM YOUR PAST, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I would change the choices I made about 8 years ago. Ultimately, I grew and learned from my mistakes and am trying to be better.
