MICHAEL’S ROLE AT BLAST IT CLEAN
Michael recently joined Blast It Clean as a crew member, bringing a strong work ethic and a hands-on mindset to our team. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact he will make on upcoming projects.

WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE JOINING BLAST IT CLEAN?
Worked at Ancon, performing industrial cleaning, hazardous waste management, spill response, confined space entry, and environmental services.
WHAT MADE YOU INTERESTED IN APPLYING HERE?
I like what the company offers and its future plans.
WHAT PART OF THE JOB WERE YOU MOST EXCITED TO LEARN?
The job process. How to apply past knowledge to something new, to learn the ins and outs and improve on what I already know, and learn from what I don’t.
HOW DO YOU USUALLY SPEND YOUR WEEKENDS?
With my Family, I'm a proud dad of 2 boys. My wife and I try to keep our kids engaged and find activities for them when we have the time.
WHAT HOBBIES DO YOU ENJOY RIGHT NOW?
Moving from Phoenix, we didn't have much fishing. Teaching my son how to fish has been a blast, and it's something I'm looking forward to when the weather is nice.
DO YOU ENJOY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES OR PREFER STAYING IN?
Personally, I enjoy staying at home, but I have a very active family that enjoys being outside. So when it's raining, I'm content.
WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO WAY TO SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY?
We really like to go out and try new restaurants in and around our area. It's a great time to bond with the family, we don't allow phones or any other distractions at the table.
WHAT KIND OF WORK ENVIRONMENT HELPS YOU DO YOUR BEST?
A proactive environment. If you’re waiting for something to happen, you're already failing.
DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVORITE FAMILY TRADITIONS?
We enjoy hosting Friendsgiving each year. It's good to be around those who help with your success or bring joy to our lives.
WHAT’S BEEN THE BIGGEST LEARNING CURVE SO FAR?
As I'm new to this team and here to learn, I'm not in a position to teach like I used to.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT HANDS-ON WORK?
There's a sense of accomplishment from seeing something from its initial state to its finished form.
